In fact it's a really good idea to meet with a few different lawyers before you settle on one just to make sure that you click in person. Ask them questions such as how many of their cases are settled out of court as opposed to in court, how many clients they take on at a time, and how they stay up on the changing laws. You want to make sure that they are knowledgeable but also that they have time to focus on you.
